bipana shrestha

Ms. Bipana Shrestha is from Nepal currently studying Bachelors in Public Health. She has been working in different areas of health. Mental illness has been one of the top health issues today. She believes that taking care of our mental health is as important as physical health. There are lots of stigmas prevailing in our society related to mental health. As youth are enthusiastic, powerful and creative, they must take actions to raise mental health awareness. M4M can be the platform to encourage and motivate youth like her to raise their voices and implement their ideas.

Ms Dechen Wangmo is from Bhutan. She says that mental health is equally as important as treating cancer patients. She believes that raising awareness and educating people will bring a positive impact on the stigmatized mental health. Through the M4M platform she believes she will be able to raise awareness on mental health with her society. 

karma choezom

Ms. Karma Choezom is a final year student from Bhutan studying Anthropology at Royal Thimphu College. She believes in youth indulgence in decision making and how it can further shape the rest of the remaining generation into a better future. Advocating and normalising mental health problems is what she aims to do being part of M4M. 

kinley wangmo

Ms.Kinley Wangmo is an undergraduate student of Asian university for women and majoring in Politics, philosophy and economics. She believes that mental health is directly proportional to success in life. Hence, gives top priority to mental health in her life and aims to spread awareness by studying mental health and sharing good mental health. She presumes that professionalism is not sufficient condition but a necessary requirement in combating stigmas on mental health because every individual can be a great contributor in someone’s life and this can be done by giving your time for near ones. Her only purpose of joining Me for Myself was to view mental illness on a wider range; study and comprehend the cause and effect of mental health on a global scale so as to adopt new ways to nurture and promote mental health.

Khamsung Wangmo , 22 years old from Bhutan believes that the vitality in life is rooted in our mental wealth being. You, I and us can promote mental health by being a supportive friend, a caring sibling and reliable child. We can do this together.

Mr. Sujan Basnet from Nepal is an enthusiastic youth who is interested in mental health awareness and he believes that M4M can be the platform where he can learn more about mental health and he is willing to do activities that can be done through this platform.

 

tejaswaee bhattarai

Tejaswee Bhattarai is a third year undergrad student of Public Health from Nepal. As a public health student, the nature of her academic revolves around educating the masses and carrying out awareness programs to prevent consequences from lack of knowledge and prevalence of myths in the public health sector. Thus, she is most passionate about being able to communicate to the masses about public health issues with prioritization on SRHR and Mental health issues. Through this campaign, she is hoping to raise awareness among people about the stigmas and misconceptions surrounding mental health and furthermore sensitize them about its significance.
