World Autism Awareness Day, is an international day celebrated worldwide annually on April 2. This day is celebrated by organizing different programs encouraging & raising awareness about people living with autistic spectrum disorders including autism and Asperger syndrome.
The UN General Assembly declared to “highlight the need to help improve the quality of life of those with autism so they can lead full and meaningful lives as an integral part of society” on the occasion of WAAD 2021. Due to the ongoing pandemic, this year the theme for this day is “Inclusion in the workspace: Challenges and Opportunities in the Post-Pandemic World”.
