World Mental Health Day 2021 Every year on October 10, World Mental Health Day 2021 (WMHD) is observed with the goal of raising awareness and spreading education about mental health issues worldwide. Mental health has always been a sensitive topic, and while the pandemic has brought attention to the issue, it has adversely affected the problems, particularly in low- and middle-income countries. The World Federation for Mental Health has announced the theme of this year’s WMHD2021 is ‘Mental Health in an Unequal World’. Whereas, World Health Organization (WHO) theme is – “Mental health care for all: let’s make it a reality”While the pandemic has affected everyone, people with long-term health conditions, fighting for equality, or parenting on their own are struggling the most and require more help and support. This day provides an opportunity to discuss mental health in general, how to eliminate the stigma attached to it, and the importance of speaking up when dealing with a mental health problem. Let’s all join together and raise our voice for mental health, cause MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS “Make MENTAL HEALTH, a PRIORITY” – Me For Myself YPEER Asia Pacific Center -Ypeer AP | UNFPA Asia and the Pacific | Youthlead | GCBS YPeer | YPEER Bhutan | YPEERPakistan | YPEER-Nepal | Livenow #m4m #worldmentalhealthday2021 #mentalhealth #ypeerap #livenow #meformyself
